What We Do?
We stand in solidarity with people living in poverty and support their efforts to take control of their own lives and fulfill their rights, responsibilities and aspirations. We ensure that participants and organizations representing people living in poverty, especially in the informal settlements, are partners at all stages in our programs.
We propagate for ways in which the public whom we serve as well as our partners can hold us accountable. FCE seeks and identifies individuals and organizations that share same goal as ours of impacting on the lives of the poor and marginalized persons, and work together in unilateral partnership to be able to fulfill both our responsibilities
We believe that every person deserves to be treated equally and provided for equally especially by the government which they elected. Hence, we stand in condemnation of any discrimination based on social class, disability, ethnicity, gender, religion or any other act that is opposite to the human rights phenomenon

In the wake of addressing causes of food insecurity and poverty, FCE develops ways and approaches that result in lasting and fundamental improvements in the lives of the people we serve, particularly those in the informal settlements. We enshrine our efforts in the establishment of Food Chamas as a foundational solution to the food insecurity menace.
We partner with other organizations and individuals to maximize the impact of our programs, building alliances and partnerships with those who offer: Complementary approachesAbility to scale up effective solutions, A demonstrated responsibility to fulfill rights and reduce poverty through policy change and implementation
